If you're an LCSWA in North Carolina looking for a clinical supervisor who truly sees you—your lived experiences, your professional aspirations, and your personal identity—you've probably realized how difficult it can be. Finding a Black supervisor who is experienced, relatable, and affordable shouldn’t be a struggle.
Yet, too often, it is.
That’s where I come in.
I provide collaborative, client-led supervision designed for clinicians who want to grow into confident, well-equipped social workers. My niche specialty—queer- and trans-affirming sex and couples therapy—offers a rare opportunity to gain expertise in an area that’s often overlooked in traditional supervision settings.
I offer clinical supervision for:
✔️ North Carolina LCSWAs who need or want supervision outside of their workplace
✔️ BIPOC clinicians seeking culturally competent mentorship
✔️ Queer- and trans-affirming therapists
✔️ Clinicians interested in sex and couples therapy
✔️ Supervisees looking to build confidence in themselves, their clinical skills, and ethical decision-making
Flexible & Client-Led: We focus on what you need, whether that's hands-on guidance or space to explore your own clinical style.
Collaborative Approach: I incorporate diverse schools of thought, ensuring you develop a well-rounded skill set.
Affirming & Inclusive: I provide a welcoming space for BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ clinicians to learn and grow.
Specialized Training: If you’re interested in sex therapy or couples counseling, I offer insight you won’t find in most supervision settings.
Ethics, Self-Care & Professionalism: Our conversations go beyond cases—we discuss maintaining balance, setting boundaries, and navigating ethical dilemmas.
✔️ Mastery of core clinical skills (assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, interventions)
✔️ Experience in crisis management & ethical decision-making
✔️ Specialized knowledge in sex and couples therapy
✔️ Confidence in managing a private practice (if this is a goal of yours)
✔️ A clear professional identity, with defined values, goals, and strengths
✔️ Readiness for the North Carolina LCSW clinical exam
Location: In-person (Greensboro, NC) & Virtual in North Carolina
Format: Individual sessions (Group supervision available once enough supervisees join)
Frequency: Weekly or biweekly sessions to maintain required ratio of 1 hour of supervision for every 30 hours of clinical practice.
Outside of supervision, I’m available via phone and email, because I know questions don’t always wait until the next session.
I believe that quality supervision should be accessible and fairly priced. My goal is to provide value that supports your growth while keeping costs manageable.
*limited financial assistance may be available.
Yes, I am licensed to provide clinical supervision for LCSWAs in North Carolina. However, virtual sessions allow me to work with supervisees across the state.
I offer a free introductory meeting where we can discuss your needs, goals, and supervision style preferences. This ensures we’re a good fit before moving forward.
That’s totally fine! While I have a specialty in queer- and trans-affirming sex and couples therapy, my supervision covers a broad range of clinical practice areas. You’ll receive guidance tailored to your interests and client population.
Absolutely! Authenticity is a core value of mine and that includes in supervision. I want you to bring your full self to our conversations and that may include your faith or spirituality. We can talk about how these beliefs influence your goals and practice.
